- Across various MSAs, there is a significant surge in the Consumer Price Index (CPI)
from around 2021, peaking in 2022, indicating potential inflationary trends. All MSAs
initially experienced a CPI downturn at the start of the pandemic, followed by a recovery
that
surpassed pre-pandemic levels. - As of the second quarter of 2023, there’s an indication of a potential decline in CPI changes across most MSAs, although remaining positive, suggesting a potential slowdown in the rate of price increases.
