Safety at Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV
The Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV System maintains a comprehensive Emergency Notification System (ENS), called AlertÂ鶹ÃÛÌÒAV, for the purpose of issuing immediate notification to keep the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV community informed and safe during an emergency situation. There is also a free app you can download called the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Safe App.
Setting Up Your Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV NetID
Your NetID allows you to access various online services offered through the university. Students, faculty, staff, and scholars should create a NetID to begin using these services. For more information, please contact Information Technology at (813) 074-1222 or help@usf.edu.
Cell Phones
When choosing a cell phone provider, make sure to ask if there is a special plan for students or discounts for Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV students as well as what's needed to set up a service plan. You may also want to consider how much data you'll need, international calling options, text message plans, and how many individuals will be on the account. Some providers require a Social Security Number (SSN) and may require a background check.

Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Information Technology (Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV IT) provides technology services and support in a variety of areas for the entire Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV system. They're located in the Student Services Building (SVC) on the fourth floor, and you may reach them at (813) 074-1222 or help@usf.edu.
