The best of both worlds: provides many of the advantages of a large public university campus, while maintaining the ability to offer small class sizes in a close-knit learning environment. We are the only public research university campus located in Pinellas County, and students can choose from undergraduate and graduate programs across several Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV colleges.
Award-winning faculty at the St. Petersburg campus have earned grants from a variety of major institutions, including the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The St. Petersburg campus is recognized for its significant commitment to community involvement and civic engagement by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.

The College of The Arts is the creative center of the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV, and the college's Graphic Arts program is available on the St. Petersburg campus, adjacent to downtown St. Petersburg. The College of Behavioral & Community Sciences is breaking new ground by combining knowledge gained through the behavioral sciences with knowledge gained from the community. At the St. Petersburg campus, the college offers courses from its Department of Criminology.

Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV's Muma College of Business emphasizes creativity and analytics to promote student success, produce scholarship with impact, and engage with all stakeholders in a diverse global environment. The Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance, located in Lynn Pippenger Hall on Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV’s St. Petersburg waterfront campus, offers small classes, high-quality experiential learning and community engagement.

College of Marine Science
The College of Marine Science seeks to increase and apply fundamental knowledge of global ocean systems and human-ocean interactions through research, graduate education and community engagement. We create and disseminate knowledge about ocean physics, chemistry, biology, geology, and fisheries through observation, modeling, and theory. We aim to train a well-educated work force and to create a more scientifically-informed society.
