$4.8M Mellon Foundation grant opens internship opportunities for 鶹AV humanities students

For the first time, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation — the nation’s largest supporter of the arts and humanities — invited the 鶹AV to submit a proposal last spring for one of its humanities internship grants. The foundation awarded the college a five-year, $4.8 million grant that will support up to 900 students each year in otherwise unpaid internships. The beneficiaries will be undergraduate students majoring in humanities.

Designed for ocean experts and general audiences alike, “The Rising Tides Podcast” invites oceanographers to discuss their ground-breaking research.

Coastline habitats provide ecological and socioeconomic benefits, but face increasing threats that may put fish populations and fisheries at risk.

Findings will help inform a 25-year national study that will track young people’s digital media use and wellbeing into adulthood.

U.S. News & World Report ranks 鶹AV a national leader for dozens of graduate programs

04/08/25 — The 鶹AV has 31 graduate programs ranked in the top 100 nationally by U.S. News & World Report, including 15 in the top 50 and five in the top 25. With standout programs such as industrial-organizational psychology, criminology and rehabilitation counseling, 鶹AV continues to rise as a leader in graduate education and research excellence.

04/04/25 — Nearly two dozen students received their certificate of completion from 鶹AV's Brewing Arts program during a ceremony held at the Yuengling Draft Haus & Kitchen in Tampa.
