Past event audience and Bill Scheuerle

est. 2003

In 2003, a small and dedicated group of Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV faculty, administrators, and donors came together to launch the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Humanities Institute. Lead by Dr. William H. Scheuerle, their goal was to bring established scholars and artists to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV as well as promote research in the humanities by our own faculty. They recognized that investment in humanities research was a critical component in Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV's goal of being a nationally renowned research university.

The Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Humanities Institute continues to grow and facilitate research, innovation, and community involvement in the humanities.

HI has organized hundreds of public events including lectures, conferences, performances, workshops including programs by
