Sarasota Neighborhood
Overview
Sarasota is a city located south of Tampa on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Part of the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV community Sarasota is home to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV’s Sarasota-Manatee campus serving over 2,000 students. In addition to beautiful beaches, the area holds a rich and historic history. As part of the African American Neighborhood Project, IBL continues to connect the community at large, and Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV serves as a principal hub of information surrounding Black Life.
