International Visiting Scholars
INFORMATION
Visiting Scholars may enroll for health insurance under the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV sponsored policy or provide proof of an alternative policy to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV International Services.
Visit to review the 2024-2025 Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Student Health Insurance policy or obtain insurance card
after enrollment
Scholars must have a University ID number (known as a U number) and a Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV email address
in order to enroll under the 24-25 Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Health Insurance policy.
Scholars who want to enroll in the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV policy may and provide the following information:
- U number (U12345678)
- Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV email (myname@usf.edu)
- U.S. address
- U.S. telephone number
Allow 24-48 business hours to receive an "activate your account" email from Academic HealthPlans (sender: info4students@mycare26.com). Once you received this email, you need to complete the enrollment process and directly pay Academic HealthPlans for your coverage.
- Printed proof of your policy; available 48 hours after you completed your enrollment
- Upload proof to iStart
Scholars who are sponsored by their department must have the department and confirm sponsorship.
