FastLane is an interactive real-time system used to conduct NSF business over the Internet.

NIH eRA Commons

A meeting place used by a community as a whole, especially for the exchange of information. For the purposes of exchanging research grants administration information, the NIH provides this "Commons". The Electronic Research Administration (ERA) Commons is a virtual meeting place where NIH extramural grantee organizations, grantees, and the public can receive and transmit information about the administration of biomedical and behavioral research.


Grants.gov

Grants.gov allows organizations to electronically find and apply for competitive grant opportunities from all Federal grant-making agencies. Grants.gov is THE single access point for over 900 grant programs offered by the 26 Federal grant-making agencies.

Grants.gov Guidelines
You do not need to register at Grants.gov in order to search or apply for grants. Your Sponsored Research administrator will submit your application package to Grants.gov for you.

Make sure you use the correct version of Adobe Reader to fill out your grant application package. To see compatible versions, please see this .

When attaching files to your grant application package, make sure the filename is under 50 characters. Avoid using any special characters (examples include -,&,*,%,/,#) or spaces in the file name. If you need spaces in the name of your files, use the underscore (example: my_Attached_File.pdf) instead of the space. For more information, please see .

Department of Education e-Grants
 

The Department of Education's (ED) portal site for electronic grants. From e-GRANTS you may access all of the Department's web-based grant systems.


Department of Energy

The e-center is the Department of Energy's web site for information on doing business with the Department of Energy, including viewing current business opportunities, registering to submit proposals, and obtaining information and guidance on the acquisition and financial assistance award process.


NASA

Supporting research in science and technology is an important part of NASA's overall mission. NASA solicits this research through the release of various research announcements in a wide range of science and technology disciplines. NASA uses a peer review process to evaluate and select research proposals submitted in response to these research announcements. Researchers can help NASA achieve national research objectives by submitting research proposals and conducting awarded research. This site facilitates the search for NASA research opportunities.


proposalCENTRAL

proposalCENTRAL is an e-grantmaking website shared by many government, non-profit, and private grant-making organizations. Over twenty thousand applicants and reviewers interact electronically with the grant-makers that are members of proposalCENTRAL.

proposalCENTRAL includes the Alzheimer's Assoc., American Cancer, American Lung Assoc., Arthritis Foundation, Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Florida Dept. of Health, Foundation for Digestive Health & Nutrition, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Lance Armstrong Foundation, Paralyzed Veterans of America, and others.

Department of Defense / eBRAP

The CDMRP (Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs) eReceipt Online Proposal Submission System was designed to allow applicants to submit their proposals electronically over the Internet through a secure connection. Use the the pre-application process on the eBRAP site (Electronic Biomedical Research Application Portal), which serves DoD, DHA, US Army, USAMRMC, USAMRAA, and CDMRP.

System for Award Management (SAM)

The System for Award Management (SAM) is an official website of the U.S. government. There is no cost to use SAM. You can use this site for free to register to do business with the U.S. government, update or renew your entity registration, check the status of an entity registration, and/or search for entity registration and exclusion records.

Office of Naval Research

The Office of Naval Research coordinates, executes, and promotes the science and technology programs of the United States Navy and Marine Corps through schools, universities, government laboratories, and nonprofit and for-profit organizations. It provides technical advice to the Chief of Naval Operations and the Secretary of the Navy and works with industry to improve technology manufacturing processes.
