Graduate Professional Development Certificate
The Graduate Professional Development Certificate Program is designed to help graduate students be successful in their academic program at Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV and beyond. The program provides graduate students with a variety of professional development opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills as they prepare for their future careers.
1-on-1 Advising or Career Coaching Session
In-person AND virtual sessions are available with Dr. Tracy Costello. Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Scholars are encouraged to schedule time to discuss their career and professional development including fellowship applications, resumes or CVs, LinkedIn profiles, interview preparation, specialty training, and much more. These sessions provide confidential, individualized feedback and/or advice regarding to support their success.
Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition
Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a skills development activity which challenges students to explain their dissertation or thesis research project and its significance to a non-specialist audience in just three minutes! Each year, we hold a contest to determine who will represent Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV at the regional 3MT® competition.
