Requirements and Deadlines
GET STARTED EARLY
- Apply as of September in your Junior year of high school to help meet deadlines.
- 11th graders apply as early as September of their junior year and attend full time in 12th grade after completing a Degree Seeking Application (see below).
- You must still be a high school student while attending Early Admission
- SEND test scores/transcripts on or before the March 1st review of your student records, which will be done by Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV admissions.
- Apply no later than March 1st.
- Application due dates are subject to change based on Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV reaching maximum capacity.
EARLY ADMISSION (EA) REQUIREMENTS
- Articulation Agreement: School Districts, Charter Schools, Private Schools and Homeschooled Administrators (Guardian) must have an
- Apply while a junior in high school; attend full time your senior year of high school.
- GPA 3.8: Unweighted
- Foreign Language: 2 years / 2 HS credits
- TEST SCORES- not restricted to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Testing center:
- SAT: 1300, with at least 580 in Critical Reading
- ACT: 29, with at least 29 in English
- CLT: 38 Verbal (V+W), 16 Quantitative (Q)
- Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Testing Center ACT or SAT
- Send official test scores to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV admissions. Request scores be sent to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV using school code 5828 for the SAT, and 0761 for the ACT. It usually takes 3-5 weeks for test results to arrive.
- Send official high school transcripts to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV admissions.
REVIEW YOUR STEPS
- Apply: Submit your as a degree seeking student no later than March 1st.
- NET ID: Activate your3 days after applying.
- EA Form 1: Submit the Early Admission Approval Form 1
- Scores & Transcripts: Submit official high school transcripts & official test scores to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV admissions.
- Official tests scores must be sent to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV from the testing company. Request scores be sent to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV using 5828 as the school code for the SAT, and 0761 for the ACT. For CLT, select Univ. of S. Florida from the drop down menu. It usually takes 3-5 weeks for test results to arrive.
- If unofficial transcripts and test scores are emailed to dualenrollment@usf.edu while waiting for acceptance, these DO NOT replace required official transcripts & test scores needed by admissions.
- EA Form 2: Submitted by a school counselor / Homeschool Parent Administrator-lists remaining

- Confirms applicant's readiness, includes needed courses for high school graduation.
- Counselor ensures Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Office of Admissions receives official high school transcripts.
- Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Academic Advisor: A Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV academic advisor will be assigned once accepted.
- ORIENTATION: Students must sign up for ORIENTATION after being accepted so they can register. This is mandatory. Select your home campus for orientation.
- ONCE ACCEPTED: You must check your Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV email regularly, and work with your assigned Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV academic advisor.

DEADLINES FOR EARLY ADMISSION (EA)
The timeline for early admission applications matches that of regular First Time In College (FTIC) students. Full schedule of deadlines.
- Student submits ALL requirements for Early Admissions to be received by March 1st.
- All transcripts and admission documents must be received by March 1st.
- Student can submits Judy Genshaft Honors College Application and online application by March 1st of their Junior Year. Follow the JGHC timeline (additional application process).
- All Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Partners request Articulation Agreements by May 15th to support upcoming Junior status students applying in the Fall for Early Admissions-Dual Enrollment during their Senior Year.
- Only Homeschool Administrators / Parents must also submit proof of homeschool registration in a school distrcit or provide a PEP award to dualenrollment@usf.edu. (Provide letter from the district, confirmation of registration or Award Letter)
