Veterans Program
Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Is a Veteran-Friendly University
Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV has a long history of supporting the veteran community. In the 2020 Military Times
Best: Colleges, Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV ranked 1st in Florida and 4th among all four-year U.S institutions.
Given Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV's proximity to MacDill Air Force Base, which is home to two major commands
(U.S. Central Command and U.S. Special Operations Command), Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV is well-positioned
to support active military and those looking to transition to meaningful careers after
service.
Military veterans are uniquely qualified for the cybersecurity field because of their
training, and often, their security clearances. Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV's cybersecurity programs provide
skills that not only will capitalize on veterans' strengths, but also will provide
nearly immediate access to the kinds of jobs that will enable them to remain in the
state and contribute toward economic growth.

Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV also offers a , a one-credit-hour course that meets in-person weekly to discuss current international cybersecurity and intelligence topics. This face-to-face seminar generally meets the "on campus" requirement for Veterans using their GI Bill.
