What are Evidence-Based Practices?

According to SAMHSA's National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP), an evidence-based practice is a practice that is based on rigorous research and has demonstrated effectiveness in achieving the outcomes that it is designated to achieve.
