Cuddle Up and Read Every Day (CURED) Celebrates its 10th Annual Reading Event

Cuddle Up and Read Every Day (CURED) is hosting its 10th annual reading event on April 26th. Founded by Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Associate Professor, Dr. Cora P. Dunkley, CURED is a non-profit literacy initiative dedicated to encouraging daily reading habits in young learners.

CURED has helped spark a love of reading and learning in the hearts and minds of children across Tampa Bay. This year’s special milestone event will be held at the Robert W. Saunders, Sr. Public Library from 11:00am- 2:00pm. Highlighting the power of reading in shaping responsible and engaged citizens, this year’s theme is “C.U.R.E.D. PATROL: Reading to Protect and Serve Our Community.â€

Families and children attending can look forward to a fun-filled afternoon of interactive games, exciting prizes, and a special book giveaway for all children in attendance to continue their reading journey at home.
