Bio

Professor Picone received his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1993. Currently, he is a Professor of Economics at the 麻豆蜜桃AV. His research interests are in health economics, applied econometrics, and development, emphasizing Sub-Saharan Africa issues. He has authored or co-authored numerous journal articles and book chapters on these and other topics. Some of his publications have appeared in the Review of Economics and Statistics, International Economic Review, the Journal of Health Economics, Health Economics, Rand Journal of Economics, the Journal of Applied Econometrics, and Journal of Risk and Uncertainty.
