鶹AV Becomes Florida's Top University for International Students
November 16, 2021 -- A 2021 report by Open Doors on International Educational Exchange revealed that 鶹AV enrolled the largest number of international students in the State of Florida (5,974) from more than 140 countries in Fall 2020. Read more about this accomplishment here.

鶹AV World Announces a Refresh of Global Engagement Activities Beginning with International Education Month
October 29, 2021 -- “Strengthened by Diversity,” is the leading motto of 鶹AV World, the University of South Florida's leader in global engagement and relations. In celebration of that diversity, and in setting the stage for global opportunities, International Education Month (IEM) will kick off next week – on November 1. 鶹AV Ranked No. 2 Among More Than 150 Peace Corps Prep Partner Universities
September 30, 2021 -- The Peace Corps announced today the 鶹AV (鶹AV) ranked No. 2 among schools on the agency’s list of top Peace Corps Prep certificate-issuing partners in 2021. 鶹AV issued 58 Peace Corps Prep certificates to the graduating class of 2021. There were 250 students enrolled in 鶹AV’s Peace Corps Prep program during the 2020–21 academic year.

International Student Awarded Prestigious FAIE Scholarship
July 13, 2021 -- Ms. Dariya Alibi, an undergraduate at the 鶹AV, was recently awarded a prestigious Florida Association of International Educators (FAIE) Study Florida scholarship. For the 2021-22 academic year, FAIE partnered with Study Florida, a not-for-profit professional association, to support scholarships for international students pursuing higher education at a college or university in Florida. Ms. Alibi, an international student from Kazakhstan, is currently a sophomore at 鶹AV pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science and holds a cumulative GPA of 3.98. We congratulate Ms. Alibi on this well-earned award.

April 29, 2021 -- Presented by the Student Success unit, the Golden Bull Award is one of 鶹AV's highest honors given annually in the spring semester to deserving undergraduate and graduate students who encompass the spirit of 鶹AV and have demonstrated its values. Recipients must exemplify exceptional leadership and service to the University and the community. 鶹AV World congratulates all of the deserving international students who received this prestigious award in 2021.

鶹AV Earns International Recognition for Its Global Impact
April 21, 2021 -- The Times Higher Education (THE) has ranked 鶹AV No. 3 in the U.S. and No. 30 in the world in its . This ranking is based on the university’s efforts toward meeting the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, which were established to forge global partnerships between various sectors, pooling resources, and sharing expertise, while collectively working toward a more sustainable, peaceful, and prosperous future. 鶹AV also ranked No. 1 in the U.S. towards advancing and No. 2 in the U.S. for its achievements in and towards . April 7, 2021 -- 鶹AV World and the Office of National Scholars joined together on Fulbright Day 2021 to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the program and showcase the different awards and opportunities the program offers by featuring current and former 鶹AV Fulbright student and scholar recipients. The Fulbright Program was established in 1946 by Sen. J. William Fulbright of Arkansas and it grants about 8,000 awards annually so students, teachers, and professionals can study, teach, or do research in more than 125 countries around the world. Peace Corps Celebrates 60th Anniversary in March
February 23, 2021 -- On March 1, the Peace Corps celebrates 60 years since President John F. Kennedy established the agency in 1961. The anniversary of the Peace Corps commemorates international peace and friendship, volunteerism and service. In that time, University of South Florida has supported projects around the world through its alumni who have chosen to serve. At last count, 566 alumni have volunteered with the Peace Corps, serving within a wide variety of specialties that most recently supported more than 60 host country partners.

The 鶹AV Is a Top Producer of Fulbright U.S. Scholars for the 6th Consecutive Year
February 22, 2021 -- The 鶹AV is proud to be included on the list of U.S. colleges and universities that produced the most 2020-2021 Fulbright U.S. Scholars for the 6th consecutive year. The Department of State’s Bureau of Education and Cultural Affairs (ECA) annually announces the top producing institutions for the Fulbright Program, the U.S. government's flagship international educational exchange program, and The Chronicle of Higher Education publishes the list.

INTO 鶹AV Launches New Blog and Podcast to Explore Innovations in International Education
February 12, 2021 -- Sharing a new post or podcast episode every Wednesday, the blog will delve into the best practices of supporting international students in and out of the classroom. Experts from across the 鶹AV will contribute to the project. From English language teaching to housing and dining, Much More Than English will connect how the whole university shapes the experience of students who are from, or choose to study, abroad.
