how to change your first name in canvas

If you have a first name change request for Canvas, please email IDM-Help@usf.edu from your official Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV email account. You do not need to provide personal details for the request, just be clear about the name you want to show in Canvas. This will also change your name in the directory and email display name, but it will not change your NetID.

Committee on Issues of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (CISOGI)

The President’s Committee on Issues of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (CISOGI) is charged to (a) advise the President on matters pertaining to issues of sexual and/or affectional orientation as they pertain to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV faculty, staff, and students; (b) evaluate and monitor the university environment for problems and issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity.

Center for Victim Advocacy and Violence Prevention 

The Center for Victim Advocacy and Violence Prevention provides free and confidential services to Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV students, faculty, and staff who have experienced crime, violence, and trauma:

Counseling Center

The mission of the Counseling Center is to help students develop as whole individuals emotionally, intellectually, and socially. Counseling Center professional staff assists students in improvising their awareness exploring personal concern, improving learning skills, and making academic, career, lifestyle, and relationship decisions.

Students of Concerns Assistance Team (SOCAT)

SOCAT offers supportive intervention and guidance to any Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV student who is struggling. The Case Manager is a member of SOCAT who reaches out to students to offer assistance, to help coordinate referrals to campus and community resources, and to develop an Action Plan for student success.
