Mental Health Law and Policy researcher receives $1.3 million to break the cycle of intergenerational addiction

Nearly 92,000 Americans died of a drug overdose in 2020, according to numbers recently released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and opioids are the main driver of overdose deaths.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday morning was packed with researchers, innovators, university leaders, legislators, and our community supporters. When attendees toured the new 120,000 sq. ft. facility, they were greeted by many of our Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV CONNECT companies—both from the Tampa Bay Technology Incubator and the Student Innovation Incubator.
