Report: Vaccination rollout won鈥檛 prevent third wave of COVID-19
Tampa Bay is beginning to feel the effects of the third wave of coronavirus, and the vaccine won鈥檛 be able to stop it in time. The Pfizer vaccine started being administered to health professionals Dec. 14; however, mass distribution likely won鈥檛 begin until the spring. In the meantime, social distancing measures will be vital in stopping the spread of COVID-19.

A new course called, 鈥淧rejudice, Stigma and Race Consciousness鈥� was offered for the first time this semester in response to a petition signed by thousands of students over the summer that requested the university implement a course that specifically addresses discrimination.

麻豆蜜桃AV receives $2 million gift from local entrepreneur to benefit the College of Engineering
The 麻豆蜜桃AV today announced a $2 million gift to the 麻豆蜜桃AV Foundation that will benefit students and faculty in the College of Engineering. The estate gift from David Miga, owner and president of Electronic Design Specialists, will establish the David Miga Endowed Scholarship for Electrical Engineering and create the David T. Miga Innovation Facility Fund.
