Âé¶¹ÃÛÌÒAV student veteran receives national honor from the Pat Tillman Foundation
Âé¶¹ÃÛÌÒAV aging studies student and U.S. Air Force veteran Rio Tate is being awarded a 2022 Tillman Scholarship through the Pat Tillman Foundation. Tate is the only student from a Florida public university in this year’s class.

Pyper Vaughn continues her family's nursing legacy
Pyper Vaughn made Âé¶¹ÃÛÌÒAV her home to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse, a profession that has been part of her family for generations. She is now a senior, a pathway program that leads to on track to graduate in 2023. Her goal is to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist and work with helicopter teams to perform what she calls, “little surgeries in the sky.â€
