The National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C. has announced it will archive 16 prints published recently by the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Institute for Research in Art’s Graphicstudio. This marks another chapter in a decades-long relationship between the two institutions, celebrating Graphicstudio’s pioneering role in the intersection of art and education.

Borkowski served as president from 1988 to 1993. During his tenure, Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV’s enrollment increased from 30,000 to more than 34,000, research grants increased from $37 million to $60 million and the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Foundation’s endowment grew from $21 million to $61 million.

Several of the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV’s online graduate programs remain among the top in the country, according to the 2025 Best Online Graduate Programs rankings released by U.S. News & World Report. Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV’s highest-ranked program is inside the Top 20 among all public and private universities and another program improved by 24 places to break into the Top 50.
