The solar-powered NEWgenerator provides off-grid sanitation technology and generates nutrients, energy and water by safely recovering them from human wastewater. It’s the first unit to be manufactured since the Âé¶¹ÃÛÌÒAV Technology Transfer Office signed a licensing agreement in 2020.

Thousands of Âé¶¹ÃÛÌÒAV students move on campus as residence halls fill to capacity

Residence halls at the Âé¶¹ÃÛÌÒAV are expected to be at full capacity for the fall semester. Approximately 7,400 students are expected to live on campus - nearly 6,500 in Tampa and more than 900 in St. Petersburg.

Âé¶¹ÃÛÌÒAV to rapidly develop technologies for the military with new cutting-edge lab

The Rapid Experimentation Lab, managed by the Âé¶¹ÃÛÌÒAV Institute of Applied Engineering, puts engineers with different areas of expertise in the same room, dramatically reducing the amount of time it typically takes to build a prototype. It’s part of a five-year, $85 million contract with U.S. Special Operations Command, headquartered at MacDill Air Force Base.
