Location of new Student Health and Wellness Center to help improve emergency response times
The Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Medical Response Unit has expanded its presence at Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV with first responders stationed on both sides of the Tampa campus. It’s now headquartered at the Student Health and Wellness Center while maintaining its space in the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Health College of Nursing building.

A new street mural on the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV St. Petersburg campus has been painted between the University Student Center and Student Life Center – melding geometric figures with school spirit. It was painted by a graphic arts faculty member along with 10 students and was part of the SHINE St. Petersburg Mural Festival.

Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV researchers, in conjunction with local law enforcement agencies and the Florida Sheriff’s Association Cold Case Commission hosted the second annual Missing in Florida Day. The goal of the event is to help solve violent crime cold cases through anthropology, scientific research, education and forensic art.

New Student Health and Wellness Center provides students hands-on training, improved campus services
It’s one of the most modern buildings on campus, and its design is reflective of a post-COVID-19 era. Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV’s new three-story, 47,000-square-foot Student Health and Wellness Center is nearly four times the size of the old Student Health Center, which had been located near the Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV Tampa bookstore since 1980.
