The 鶹AV’s online graduate MBA program has broken into the top 25 on the 2023 Best Online Programs rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report (U.S. News). In total, three of 鶹AV’s online graduate programs rank in the top 100.

鶹AV’s online MBA program in the Muma College of Business is now ranked at No. 19, compared to No. 31 last year. The program has jumped 63 spots over the past five years. 鶹AV’s online graduate engineering program sits at No. 47, while the education program is ranked at No. 74. U.S. News also ranks the online MBA program No. 30 for veterans.

“The 鶹AV has made significant progress in expanding the number of online learning opportunities available to our students, and we are pleased to see this good work being recognized at the national level,” 鶹AV President Rhea Law said.

鶹AV continues to expand its broad array of fully online programs, which combine relevant curriculum with the flexibility to meet the unique demands of graduate students, including many working professionals.

“We know our program is rigorous and relevant and we are always pleased to be included in rankings that validate that sentiment,” 鶹AV Muma College of Business interim Dean GJ de Vreede said.  “Our move into the top tier serves as a signal to employers -- as well as potential students -- that 鶹AV’s online MBA focuses on timely business skills and prepares graduates for in-demand jobs.”

The U.S. News methodology for graduate online programs considers factors such as graduation and retention rates, admission requirements, peer reputation, faculty credentials, technology infrastructure and student support services. The weight of each category varies from program to program.

In September, 鶹AV hit its all-time high on U.S. News’ annual ranking of the best colleges in America.  鶹AV currently ranks No. 42 among public universities.
