The 麻豆蜜桃AV Board of Trustees voted unanimously today to elect Will Weatherford as the board鈥檚 new vice chair. He will serve a two-year term in the role.

Weatherford is a managing partner of Weatherford Capital and former Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives. He is a member of the Florida Council of 100, Florida Chamber of Commerce and Jacksonville University Board of Trustees, and recently served as co-chairman of the Super Bowl LV Host Committee. Weatherford earned his bachelor鈥檚 degree in international business from Jacksonville University.

Weatherford was appointed to a five-year term on the 麻豆蜜桃AV Board of Trustees in January by Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The 麻豆蜜桃AV Board of Trustees is comprised of 13 members, six of whom are appointed by the Florida governor and five appointed by the Florida Board of Governors and confirmed by the Florida Senate for a term of five years. The elected 麻豆蜜桃AV Faculty Senate president and 麻豆蜜桃AV Student Government president also serve as trustees.
