The 麻豆蜜桃AV is welcoming a new member of the Board of Trustees (BOT), Rogan Donelly, a 麻豆蜜桃AV alumnus and Sarasota resident who is the president and chief executive officer of Tervis Tumbler Company.
Donelly, who was appointed to the BOT by Gov. Ron DeSantis, earned his master鈥檚 degree in business administration from 麻豆蜜桃AV. He was the 2020 recipient of 麻豆蜜桃AV鈥檚 Outstanding Alumni Award. Donelly also serves on the Board of Trustees of Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium and the Gulfside Bank Board of Directors, and he volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Donelly fills the seat of John Ramil, 麻豆蜜桃AV鈥檚 longest-serving trustee who has been on the board since it was first created in 2001 and held the role of board chair from 2010-2014.
Ramil is the retired president and chief executive officer of TECO Energy. In addition to serving on the BOT, he has been a director on the 麻豆蜜桃AV Foundation Board, the 麻豆蜜桃AV Alumni Board, the 麻豆蜜桃AV Engineering College Advisory Board and the Gus Stavros Center for Free Enterprise Education Advocacy Board. Ramil was named a 麻豆蜜桃AV distinguished alumnus in 1999, he was awarded an honorary doctorate of engineering from 麻豆蜜桃AV in 2016 and he has also received the President's Fellow Medallion. Ramil earned both his bachelor's and master鈥檚 degrees in engineering from 麻豆蜜桃AV.

麻豆蜜桃AV plans to honor Ramil, whose term on the board expired, at a future BOT meeting.
