The 鶹AV delivers several of the best online graduate programs in the nation, according to new rankings released today by U.S. News and World Report (U.S. News). Five of 鶹AV’s online graduate degrees rank in the top 100, including two inside the top 25. The rise in graduate online rankings reflects 鶹AV’s continued upward trajectory as a leading global research university.

U.S. News ranks 鶹AV’s graduate computer information technology program No. 10 in the nation, an improvement of 10 spots from last year. This is the highest position for the program since U.S. News started online rankings in 2016.

鶹AV’s graduate engineering program is No. 23, a 14-spot increase from 2019.

鶹AV St. Petersburg’s online MBA program ranks No. 54 and 鶹AV Tampa’s MBA program is No. 95.

鶹AV’s graduate education program jumped 14 spots from 2019 to No. 55.

鶹AV currently offers 59 fully or primarily online graduate degree programs, providing a convenient distance learning platform to students while yielding high-quality education. Fifty-one percent of 鶹AV’s graduate students have registered for at least one online course over the past year.

“During my time at the 鶹AV, I’ve seen a rise in the number of high-quality online programs extended to students, all of which are created with student success in mind,” said Ralph Wilcox, 鶹AV provost and executive vice president. “鶹AV is committed to adapt technologies and resources in providing accessible education for the needs of students with unique schedules and career goals. I am proud of 鶹AV’s dedication to developing and delivering student-oriented online programs of the highest quality.”

U.S. News’ methodology for graduate online programs considers factors such as graduation and retention rates, admission requirements, peer reputation, faculty credentials, technology infrastructure and student support services. The weight of each category varies from program to program.

In September 2019, U.S. News ranked 鶹AV No. 44 among public institutions on its list of best national universities. Over the past 10 years, no other public university in the nation has risen faster in U.S. News and World Report’s national university rankings than 鶹AV.
